At Home Acupuncture Service

Maeve Nov 2018-37.jpg

At home acupuncture visits provide several advantages over seeking care in a clinic:

  • Patients can be reached who are homebound or in a hospice or nursing home. This could be due to illness, disability, frailty, injury, acute pain, fatigue, or post-operative pain.

  • Patients who have severe pain or migraines may have difficulty with driving or other transportation.

  • In order to minimize stress, patients having treatments timed to support assisted conception may choose to have a home visit.

  • All acupuncture approaches and adjunctive therapies are offered as part of the mobile clinic.

  • Acupuncture at home is just as effective as acupuncture in a clinic.

Who I treat in their home:

The most popular use of acupuncture is in the management of chronic pain. Acupuncture has been proven to be effective in reducing the need for pain medications that can cause unwanted side effects.
